If you’re anything like me, you enjoy a good book…..or even some good music.
Border’s Marketplace is currently having a blowout sale and offering up to 90% off thousands of book, movie and music titles. I found the ever-popular title Where the Wild Things Are for just $1.04, Diary of a Wimpy Kid titles starting at right around $6 and Twilight, Water for Elephants and A Thousand Splendid Suns each priced at less than $3.
Granted, they’re all used copies, but does it matter? They all read the same, right?
You’ll find similar deals in both music and movies which are perfect for long car trips with the littles.
Considering going electronic? Now’s a great time to do it. I received an eReader for Mother’s Day this year and have to say, as much as I do love the feel of a good book, this e-reading thing is definitely convenient. No more juggling a sleeping baby in one hand while trying to flip a page with the other…you simply press a button. Plus, with the ability to hold hundreds of books, you’re never without something to read (think beach, carpool lane, soccer practice….)
Anyway, Border’s just unveiled their line and you can get a Kobo for $149 plus a $20 Border’s gift card and double Border’s Bucks (if you’re a member of that rewards program). Now that’s a killer deal.
