Well, the final countdown is upon us. Borders is just about ready to close up shop for good.

I’ve been in a few times since the sale started, the most recent trip occurring this weekend. I actually scored some stuff pretty cheap. A cover for my ereader, some legos for the baby, and a super-cozy blanket for my older daughter.

What? No books? Well, I had already stocked up on what I wanted and frankly, I’ve also committed to use my library as much as possible these days . . . really only purchasing books I know I’ll want to read again.

Anyway, the brick-and-mortar locations are only open for another two weeks. Oh, and if you’ve been wanting an ereader but have not yet made the leap, many of the Borders locations have Kobo readers (which you can borrow library books on) for $50. That’s a crazy steal.
