How many of you actually go out on Black Friday?

I have to admit that I do not. Well, I will be this year, but only because my twelve-teen begged and pleaded and I decided it was probably an experience she should have at least once in her life.

Plus, I thought it might be fun to tweet the deals I spot over at Twitter (follow us @smartmomdeals) so you all can get the inside scoop.

Anyway, back to my original thought. This sale at Fisher-Price.com is one of the main reasons I avoid the mall on Black Friday. More and more stores are catching on to the online shopping thing and I can often find deeper discounts online than I could in the store — especially if you figure in the time and effort it takes to shop on such a crazy day.

FisherPrice.com is running a “fill your sleigh and save” sale for the next six days. Here’s the scoop — a new deal of the day, each day, starting at midnight CST; 20% off your entire order; and free shipping on any order of $75 or more.

Head over to Fisher-Price.com and see what they’ve got. As far as I can tell, the site is well-stocked for every age group. And the deal of the day today (in case you’re wondering) is Thomas the Train wooden train stuff with prices starting at just over $6.

Black friday is crazy, but the deals are so irresistable. now with online, things are even better. Like take fisher price deals. I could go nuts for good quality cheap toys. I’m all for it and so are my kids.
