Are you familiar with the Entertainment Books? They come out each year and are filled with coupon goodness – from restaurants and retail shops to savings on oil changes and amusement parks. They are fabulous.

But these handy books retail for $35. Which is a little bit pricey, but still totally worth it. However, I learned several years ago that if you just wait until the middle of the year, you can save big on these handy bundles of joy. And since most of the coupons are still good, you make out – big time.

So here’s the deal. Head over to the Entertainment Books website and scope out your city. Prices are just $8.99 and include free shipping. Don’t see your city listed? Don’t sweat it. Just search by zip code. You can also download a companion app so you always have your book with you!

How sweet is that?

Mighty good news. Just that i dont love coupons. Do i get to check out what’s in there, so I figure out what’s in there?

My question: do i get a sneak peak to see if its worth it before i make the purchase?

Actually PR, yes, you can! If you enter your zip code, it will pull up the book closest to your town and give you a sampling across 5 or 6 categories – my city gives me 6 categories and 12 sample deals per category, so I got a pretty good look at it. Plus, you can actually get the books (if they have any left) at retailers like Target, B&N, etc. But for the $9, I just looked online and ordered that way. I probably would have spent that much in gas visiting the various retailers looking for a copy!!

Actually that’s a great tip, to grab one halfway through the year at a reduced price and with most coupons still intact. Smart girl!
