Last week, I made a comment on my Facebook page regarding the price of gas and getting back to basics like canning, gardening, and all those other Martha Stewart goodies.
I also told the hubs that I would love to work just a little less through the summer so I can spend time doing these things and preparing us for the winter.
As you can tell, at heart, I’m really a country kinda girl. And even though I couldn’t live way out in the wilderness, I do put a lot of value on the simpler things in life – at times, I’m sick of the hustle and bustle.
One of the things I love most about Anthropologie is its simplistic and classic styling. And it runs throughout their line – from their clothing to their kitchen items. And while the prices are far from inexpensive, if you shop the sale section of the website, you can often score this eclectic look for nearly nothing.
For example, the above pictured red flower hook – currently 50% off. It’s bold enough that you could add just a few to a room (maybe a bathroom?) and still make a great statement. Also available in a pretty yellow, these would look great together.
Normally retailing for $14, you can grab these for $7.95. The Anthropologie Sale Section also hasbeautiful glass drawer knobs and finials, handbags, glass bottles, clothing and other goodies.
