Strollers are kind of the bane of my existence. The jogger. The umbrella. The travel. Really? How many strollers can one family need?
Last summer we went on a trip which involved several flights for me and the two girls … dad stayed home with the dogs. At any rate, before we left, I knew I needed a new stroller that would be lightweight, easy to maneuver, easy to collapse, and comfortable for Ella. Because, let’s face it. No two-year-old is going to want to stay in a stroller at a busy airport unless it’s comfortable to ride in.
After much research, I decided on a Maclaren. And I’m so happy that I did. It has become Ella’s favorite stroller and she now asks to take it to the mall … which is great for me because previously I either had to carry her super-heavy jogger with us (which took up the entire back of our car) or try and convince her to stay in the umbrella stroller that also just happens to be a pain to steer.
I was browsing the Maclaren site today to see about a different style that might accommodate two littles and instead stumbled upon a sale they’re having on their StyleSets. Multiple styles are available, some up to nearly 40% off. From simple to elaborate, there’s all sorts of things to be had. Given our subzero temps at the moment, I’m tempted to grab the Cosy Rider set, but given the fact that we’re due to have this baby soon, the Twice As Nice set might be more appropriate.
