This deal is only great if you live near an IKEA – I’ll admit it. But I live 2 1/2 hours away from the nearest location and I’m still considering making the trip.

And here’s why. When the hubs and I moved to our new bedroom (my old office) to make room for the baby, we lost our big closet (which our tweenager is now totally enjoying). At any rate, we’re totally crammed into this tiny little coat closet.

When I say little, I’m not kidding. It’s about 36″ wide – for two adults.

We’ve been contemplating a dresser, but I think a wardrobe is a much better idea – simply because we can both hand and fold items.

Normally $99, this particular style of wardrobe from IKEA is on sale for $49 through May 22nd (or until they run out).

I say snatch it up if you’re in the market for one. At this price, it would even be worth having in your basement utility room to hang off-season jackets and store games and stuff!

The quality of IKEA stuff is really hit-and-miss. The price on this is great, so be sure to inspect it to know if it will withstand the amount of constant use. The rule of thumb with IKEA furniture I’ve found is, it will stand as long as you don’t try and move it once it’s been assembled. :)
