I love renovating rooms — I just don’t like paying an arm and a leg to do it. However, I have discovered the power of wall murals. They can give a room a brand new look without a large financial investment.
EcoBabyBuys.com has some really cute ones on sale right now from Wallies Wallpaper Company. Several different designs are available and would be suitable for kids that are both really small and a little bit older. My favorite at the moment is the cat and dog set….but that’s just me.
I will say that I’ve used these wallpaper murals before and, while they aren’t quite as easy as the stick-n-peels, they last much longer because they don’t seem to lose their stickiness (if that make sense). I’ve found that the peel-n-sticks are very affected by humidity and if you’re running a vaporizer or humidifier in the winter months, they come down in a hurry.
