I happen to be in love with Orla Kiely. And it happened so suddenly too. My neighbor came down with her new tote bag and I was smitten. When I asked her where she found it, she breezily replied, “it’s an Orla Kiely.”
Up until then, I had been carrying around my patent cherry-red Nino Bossi (a splurge during a NYC trip) and was quite content. And I still am, but this whole Orla Kiely thing has me thinking there might be room in my closet for just one more bag.
Not exactly inexpensive, if you can find them on sale, you’re in luck. And it just so happens that the Orla Kiely vintage collection is on sale at her website right now; in fact, the bag pictured above is just $100 – marked down from $170.
I’m torn between this bag and the Petal Tote Bag available at the 3TrendyGirls eBay store.
